Hi,
I'm trying to connect my t60p to a Belkin bluetooth receiver, without success. Any hope?
I have got it working between the device and a different computer (win7) so it does work.
Thanks

Belkin makes a few types of Bluetooth receivers, are we talking about this one?

Connect is not really the correct bluetooth terminology...it is attempted to 'pair' with.

yes, that's the one. Model # F8Z492
I'm running xp sp3.
The internal bluetooth radio is called 'thinkpad bluetooth with enhanced data rate' by Broadcom, if that helps.

This worked for me with my T42. Perhaps the method is similar for the T60p.

I got it working. I installed the latest driver from lenovo. The odd thing is that when I clicked 'update driver' in Device manager it told me I had the latest. I guess that was only checking windows drivers.
The belkin seems sketchy to me, it drops out when objects move through its path.
Would another device work better?

Thanks GomJabbar,
I got it working in the meantime. My experience was quite similar to what you said in your thread. I had no 'my bluetooth places' icon, and I could connect but no sound came through. The installation instructions from lenovo were quite useless. I couldn't uninstall the driver from 'add/remove programs', and I couldn't cancel the automatic installation of drivers when I powered the radio on. So I installed the drivers with bluetooth radio off through the 'add/remove programs' window by selecting 'add programs from CD' and browsing to the folder. I guess it turned the bluetooth radio on automatically when it needed it, and from there everything worked. I seem to have much more complete bluetooth functionality now.

I'm glad you got it working.
Yes, I had some bluetooth functionality, but not full functionality until I performed the steps in the link I posted.

Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver and can work well with Logitech Bluetooth Adapter. I got this tip in
