Hi all!

I am setting the WiiMote White Board on my projector using my T60 2007-GAU w/ XP Home. In BIOS, bluetooth IS enabled, but it gives the message: BLUETOOTH DEVICE NOT FOUND. Please verify that your Bluetooth device is properly connected and turned on. How do I connect the WiiMote as there is no add device in Control Panel.

Thanks,

hi Annie
Not sure if you know the Fn+F5 buttons ;
so try that and see if BT is 'turned on" etc .... and it should show up in CP. Update the latest drivers from the Lenovo website

Or check if there Hardware issues .....

Cheers

Tried Fn-F5, only thing I get is Wireless 3945ABG from Intel. I have the bluetooth icon in the system tray... What would I go into in Control Panel to get it? I tried networking and internet, isn't there.

Hi Ann*;
I dont have XP in my current laptop; so would be guessin some of the steps

Howerver ; the best way would be - to INSTALL the lenovo SYSTEM UPDATE application as it works very nciely .. and is very accurate + it will help you get the all the CORRECT & UPTODATE drivers etc . here is the link
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-66956

After installing this... Please run it with Admin Rights.... usually it comes up with "Recommended" and "Optional" updates....
My suggestion(s) is to INSTALL ALL OF THEM .... and follow/watch for instructions etc during these UPDATE STAGES - as it might ask for " accept" and or reboot etc etc ,,,,,

AFTER your updates are done ..............hopefully your BT will work and all be fine.... if not > then it might be a failed hardware" issue

Good luck
Mike

I already have that installed :(

EDIT: Could an admin lock this? I just heard back from Lenovo Support, the 2007-GAU didn't include Bluetooth.
