I need a program that reads the temperature of the computer for Windows 7. I was thinking of using this gadget: http://addgadget.com/all_cpu_meter/.

Are the temperatures returned by this gadget as reliable as Thinkpad specific programs like tpfancontrol? Are there more?

NHC works well with W7, they just released a new version also. See here: http://www.pbus-167.com/

Unfortunately it doesn't work in Windows x64.
