I've read the FAQ's and rules, and I did a search - so I hope I'm not breaking any rules or posting in the wrong thread or so.. If so, please let me know, I'm trying to be good
Anyhow, problem is I have a Thinkpad T61 with a broken touchpad. I've got a T41-touchpad lying around, and I've been considering replacing the broken T61-touchpad with the working T41-touchpad. I was just wondering if any of you guys would happen to know if I could mess things up by doing so? There's a connector beneath the palmrest that looks the same on the T41 as the T61, so I'm guessing it *might* work...
Any of you fine gentlemen think this is all a bad idea?
Any advice is much appreciated - thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
-Tausen.
