Bought a used T60p with Sanyo battery. Power Manager shows 77% charge, but will not hold power if AC adapter cord is removed; system shuts off immediately. Battery will drop to 76% and charge to 77%, but no more. The following battery information was obtained from Power Manager:

Status - charging
Remaining % - 77
Charge completion time - blank
Remaining capacity - 56.23 Wh
Full charge - 73.59 Wh
Current - 0.00 A (is this an issue?)
Voltage - 10.73 V
Wattage - blank
Temp - 28c
Cycle count - 8
Manufacturer - Sanyo
Man date - 2009-10-05

AC adapter is a genuine Lenovo 90W 20V. I unfortunately do not have a spare battery, power adapter or spare system to test with. Just looking for some ideas. Do bad batteries sometimes act this way? I have an older T42 and gone through several batteries, but they all hold some charge and will keep the system running for at least 15 minutes or so. This dies immediately. I'm a bit worried there is something else wrong. Thanks for any feedback!

I've seen bad batteries behave this way, so it seems you are stuck with trying another battery, or your battery in another machine. Maybe a member on the West Coast will volunteer to test it for you.
