Which Flexview panel do I have (Boe Hydis or LG)?

I am using Windows 7 and I am asking myself which flexview panel my thinkpad T60 has. Do you know how I can find it out? Thanks!

If it's UXGA (1600x1200), it's Hydis. LG never made such a panel.

If it's SXGA+ (1400x1050), it's most likely LG (they were the common one), but can also be Hydis.

Everest is one utility I know that can display the part number of the LCD panel, and from this it is possible to deduce usually what is what.

Didn't they use some IDTech panels in the T60 too? You can use the parts look up to see which screen you have.

According to the HMM, they did not. But there can be surprises. My T42 came with an LG SXGA+ IPS, even though officially this option existed only on the T43...

The last batches of T60p came with IDtechs and some of the last stock IDtechs according to production date (late 2005).

Oh, yeah, now I seem to recall... They ran into serious shortage of Hydis UXGAs, and had to revert to old stock of IDTechs... Also at that point some 15" T60ps came out with SXGA+ panels (previously unheard of for a p-model).

Try Everest, if it gives you a part number for the LCD just Google it...
