Battery dead??

#1 Post by kingman99 » Sun Jan 30, 2011 9:24 am

Hi

I have been having issues with the battery ever since my wife picked up the T61. As long as it is plugged in, it's fine. But it will not hold a charge.
I picked up another battery and it has the same problem but being that l picked the new battery on Ebay from a super resource l know the battery is good..

I read somewhere that there is a battery in the DVD section that can cause this.

If so how can l get to it?

Thanks

Do you have a battery installed in the ultrabay?

There is a small latch that will release and allow the ultrabase to be pulled out in order to remove the dvd, spare battery or hard drive you may have installed in the ultrabay.
