T61 Keyboard - Are T4x Series compatible?

Hi

I just picked up a T61 and noticed that the keys require a lot more effort than the keyboards on my T4Xs (I've had five, between the kids and myself).

The result of this "firm" keyboard is that I'm softkeying a lot and missing letters frequently.

Does anyone know if the I can swap out the keyboard for one on an old T4X?

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed this?

Thanks

Canflyboy

T4X and T6X keyboards are not compatible. The good news is that there are (3) different manufactures of T61 keyboards, so you might find one that is not as stiff.

Thanks Harryc for the prompt reply. I'll check out manufacturers of other keyboards. T4Xs keyboards also came from multiple manufacturers and some were more desirable than others.

Does anyone know if there's a T61 keyboard that isn't as stiff?

Thanks Again

Probably an NMB (the one with the blue rubber springs).
