Wireless problem

I have a T61 running XP Pro. Every time it goes on standby and sometimes while surfing I lose internet. Says I am connected to my network but it is limited. I right click and select repair and after it has completed I have internet again. I ran ThinkVantage and got all the updates but this is maddening!! None of my other laptops have this problem. Any ideas ? Thanks

If you installed a newer release of Access Connections that may reset original settings upon installation. Is there a chance that you've upgraded AC recently? One of the most common reasons for intermittent Wifi drop outs is an AC wireless setting (set it to high performance) or a Device Manager setting (set it to disable power savings). Also there is an AC setting for aggressive network discovery that can be toggled.

No problem, it happens all he time. Bill Morrow is the site owner and all emails go out with his name on them, regardless of who replies to the thread.
I do all the work and Bill gets the credit, go figure :). It's great to be King ...LOL.
