Problem with Adv. Dock.

When I reboot my computer it can take between 6 and 8 minutes to fully reboot with the majority of the time on the main IBM splash screen. This happened with Win XP and now with Win 7 but it only happens when docked. Are there drivers or firmware I need or does the dock just need to be replaced?

Any external peripherals attached to the dock?

Is your TP looking for Network drives?
If so, you need to UNmap them before you switch off.

External devices - MS Wireless keyboard and Mouse, cell phone charging cord and Logitech web cam. Will try removing the webcam, move the key/mouse USB on the Thinkpad. No network drives mapped at all.
Thanks

Network drives won't affect boot-up until you've logged in to Windows.
I've had a similar issue to yourself and it's always when my Ipod is connected via USB, so I'd imagine it's a USB issue with yours too.
