What is the largest hard drive the T60 will accommodate?

I believe 1TB is currently the largest SATA laptop hard drive.

I believe those are all 12.5mm high; will the T60 accept a drive that large?
Largest capacity 9.5mm drive I'm aware of is 750GB.

Largest 2.5" SATA HDD's currently offered by Newegg are 1 TB, but as said they are 12.5 mm high; check -->
here. As also said, largest 9.5 mm high 2.5" SATA HDD's currently available are "only" 750 GB.
