X61 or R61 can be overclocked by pinmod. But T61 - no precedent yet (IMO due to it's specific BIOS)

I don't know one way or another on a T61p, but Throttlestop might be worth a look/try:

I got it working on a W700 quad core Extreme laptop, for which Throttlestop was designed. BUT, to my surprise, when I cranked it up on a Z61p, it also worked there with no issues
Not that I really to hotrod a Z61p, but it just goes to show that you don't always know until you try it.

Binh - it should work doing on the T6x but not in the bios. Exactly how I am trying to find out.
Amatx - thx - this might work. Would you mind helping me setting it up? I am really clueless when it comes to OC and could even pay for some tutoring

Feel free to PM me, even send me your email or IM, if you want to. Thank you
