X61 or R61 can be overclocked by pinmod. But T61 - no precedent yet (IMO due to it's specific BIOS)

I don't know one way or another on a T61p, but Throttlestop might be worth a look/try:

I got it working on a W700 quad core Extreme laptop, for which Throttlestop was designed. BUT, to my surprise, when I cranked it up on a Z61p, it also worked there with no issues  :P

Not that I really to hotrod a Z61p, but it just goes to show that you don't always know until you try it.

Binh - it should work doing on the T6x but not in the bios. Exactly how I am trying to find out.

Amatx - thx - this might work. Would you mind helping me setting it up? I am really clueless when it comes to OC and could even pay for some tutoring :D Feel free to PM me, even send me your email or IM, if you want to. Thank you
