Hi,

Unfortunately, my old 6 cell battery died in my T61 (7664) yesterday after 3.5 years of service.
Now, I'm thinking of buying a 9 cell battery instead but I'm worried I might think it would feel too big.

Does anyone have both batteries available and is able to provide some comparison images or something between the two when mounted?

The batteries involved are 41U3198 and 43R2499.

I got a couple of pics in the following thread comparing the 7-cell (which is similar to 6-cell in size) and the 9-cell:

i had a 6cell came with the machine but died after 3 yrs of usuage.
now i got a 9cell and an ultrabay 3cell

to be honest, 9 cell is not too bad for me. it's about the save length as the 6 cell but tilt up a little bit

Thanks, I went with the 9 cell and I'm pleased with my choice so far.
