Just flashed my frankenpad to Middletone's BIOS and use Throttle stop to enable dual IDA on T9300.
Now I have a virtual T9700 CPU on my T61, i.e. 2.7Ghz :)

Does it work for quad cores?

hehe, I came to make a post about it on here and I found you did it already :D

everything seems to work fine for me so far, running at 2.8GHz.

However, make sure you run Dual IDA in Profile 1 only (not like me the first time in Profile 2). In ThrottleStop Option -> check "Start Dual IDA" and "Profile 1". What that does is it ensures the CPU starting Dual IDA mode every time you switch to Profile 1, because if Dual IDA is ran in any other profile but 1 then it may or may not start when you switch to that profile. If it doesn't start then you need to click and un-click the EIST until it starts. So this cycling of EIST is automatic in Profile 1 only.

Somebody locked my first thread about Dual IDA in the Lenovo Forum in NBR due to it being a double-post, LOL, and I planned to develop that thread instead of the one that many posted comments in. So I guess I'll follow the second thread there now ... but I posted links to all software needed in the first thread (the locked one). Link to that one is below the picture.

.... enjoy ..... :D

Yes. Unless there is a software for other OS that can disable EIST.

See http://forum.notebookreview.com/windows ... 2-duo.html and http://forum.notebookreview.com/6646598-post142.html for some deeper introduction. To me it primarily looks like lots of trouble, though. ;)
