Hi, I'm considering purchase of a Lenovo ThinkPad T60 (same build as 2007-YUC ). Can anybody please help me with two issues here? ..
Does this model suffer from a noisy fan? What is the display quality like?
Some specs...
T2500(2GHz), 2GB RAM, 80GB 5400rpm HD, 14.1in 1400x1050 LCD, 64MB ATI Radeon X1300
Much obliged for any help

Welcome to the forum!
All T60s are prone to fans getting noisy with age, but that's an easy and inexpensive repair.
As for the screens, these are likely as good as an TN panels used on ThinkPads ever were.
What will the machine be primarily used for?

Does the forum have any info. on repair of same? I'll be using it for photographic apllications (graphics-intensive), sometimes streaming through beamer or tv

If you are doing photo work, you should look into getting one with a 15" FlexView screen, which uses IPS technology and as a result will produce far more accurate color reproduction and better viewing angles.
