T61 with a FX570M GPU

I went through my July 2008 and Jan 2009 tabook.pdf listings and could not find any T61 (non-p) units that were pre-configured with the higher end Nvidia NVS FX570M Graphics unit (as I expected).

However, does anyone recall if a non-p T61 CTO could have been ordered with the FX570M in lieu of the standard 140M GPU?

I found a late 2008 (August) CTO T61 15.4" (as externally labeled at the bottom right of the screen) that has the FX570M GPU with a 2.4GHz T8300 processor.

What WinXP command will spit out the true Subsystem labeling (i.e. T61 vs T61p).

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated .... thanks.

I think I found my own answer in an older thread at the Notebook Review Forum:

Seems to be consistent with my memory when I was ordering units thru my educational portal in that a non-p 15.4" T61 could be outfitted with an FX570 (but only in the 1900x1200 screen flavor), whereas a true T61p with an FX570M could also be had with the the lower 1680x1050 screen.

If anyone recalls differently, feel free to chime in .... Thanks.
