Win 7 64-bit?

I've got a T61 7661 and I'm currently running Ubuntu. Unfortunately, I've got to upgrade - both memory (to 4 GB) and get on board with Windows 7. Q: Should I get the Win 7 64-bit version to utilize the 4 GB of memory?

Yes, the T61 will support 4gb of ram (Actually it will go up to 8gb) with the 64-bit version of windows 7.

For future reference, there are a few search systems floating around, there was an extensive writeup on this in a forum post a while ago - I think it was made a sticky. Please try a search before posting (there is a google search setup that is better than the forum search) - I have found that I am normally not alone in my problems (computer problems that is )
