Hands down Panasonic is the better battery of that vintage. It's not even a close comparison. I have a Panasonic in my T60P that is 5 years old, has 900 cycles, and retains 75% of it's original capacity.

Panasonic is definitely the best manufacture of battery for IBM / Lenovo, while Sanyo is the worst.
Usually Panasonic battery can keep full charge level at 80-85% of design capacity after 4-5 years of use. This goes against the general rule that a battery is wear out by 30-35% per year.

How & where does one ensure that one gets a Panasonic battery? Can you order/ buy from somewhere / Lenovo with those specifics?
