Is it possible to boot from an expresscard ssd?

The Verbatim SSD ExpressCard 32 GB delivers up to 120 MB / s. Is this possible with the T60 Expresscard slot?

The expresscard SSDs work in the expresscard slot of the T6x line. They are quite fast. If you install your programs and/or frequently used documents on them, or if you use them with a disk cache such as ReadyBoost or eBoostr, they provide a nice alternative to a regular SSD, and they allow you to keep your large platter drive for storage.

I don't know about T61s, but T60s cannot boot from them. The T60's BIOS does not recognize the expresscard natively, so it has to wait for Windows to load a driver before it can read it. You cannot use it as a boot drive.
