CPU Temperatures: T2500 vs T5600 vs (? T7200)

I have recently replaced cpu t2500 with t5600. I have previously made a copper-shim mod on GPU (x1300). The CPU temperatures at NHC setting 'Max battery' made the range 59-65 for TPFanControl turn the fan (level 1 => ca 2.9 - 3 K rpm) on 3-4 times an hour. After changing to t5600 I am getting the fan on 11-13 times an hour. After switching to 65-71 range the fan turn-on frequency dropped to 3-4 times per hour. Should the T5600 run THAT hotter than T2500? How does T7200 compare to T5600 heat-emission-wise (both have Thermal Design Power 34W)? And is that a deal worth considering for 32-bit win-XP? Especially if silence is important?
I find it pretty strange that the temperatures rose that much. Lower FSB and larger chip surface implied rather decrease in temperatures (although I know that heat emissions in Intel charts are higher for T5600).
