T60 wifi disconnecting or can't connect

#1 Post by ripi » Sun May 01, 2011 10:02 am

Hi i have T60 1951-A47
I want to use only windows build in wifi management. So i went to Wireless Network Connection Properties > Wireles Networks Tab and enabled "Use windows to configure my wireless network settings"
After that i can't connect via wifi... It just end on "Acquiring network adress" then disconnect and again to "Acquiring network adress" and so on..
What to do? With Access connections i have no problem so why this?

Edit: I think that important thing is that it start "Acquiring network adress" and then it shows red cross on icon for a small moment and then againf acquiring. This happens over and over again. I can film it if you want.

Click on Start/Run, type in: services.msc and click on OK.
In the new screen click on the Standard tab at the bottom, then scroll all the way down to Wireless Zero Configuration.
Rightclick that, and select Start.
Click on the Orange X at the top right to Exit.
Now start connecting wifi again.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
