Hard Drive Cloning

I just got my new hard drive and the Apricorn kit. I wanted to ask if anyone has run into any problems with the process. I have read that it is important to put the new drive in the machine is there anything else I should know?

You should have no problem if you, as you say, install the new drive before cloning. I did it with an R60 successfully. After cloning, disconnect your old drive before booting the new one. Good luck!

What is this Apricorn kit? What drive did you get?

the hard drive I got was the Hitachi Travel star 500GB 7200RPM
