T60 battery replacement

I just bought a used T60. So far, even though it's only a 1024x768 Core Duo model, I'm really enjoying the machine. I threw in a Crucial C300, a couple extra GB of RAM, and installed Win7; now I have a very quick, rugged laptop for a net cost of $300.

The only issue with the computer is the battery. It came with a 6-cell battery, and obviously it's a few years old because I only get ~2 hours on a charge.

I'd like to buy a replacement, but I don't want to pay $200 to get one from Lenovo. There are lots of cheap compatible batteries on ebay ($40-$50), but it's pretty much impossible to tell from an ebay posting whether they're any good or not. Can anyone suggest a place where I can buy a generic or genuine Lenovo at a reasonable price? Thanks!

EDIT: Oh yeah, can anyone give me an idea of what kind of battery life I could expect with a new 9-cell?

About 5 hours with a new 9-cell is reasonable.

Lenovo asks for $200? That seems a lot. Even here in Israel these batteries were cheaper.

If buying on eBay look for listings that say "genuine Lenovo/IBM" - these should be good.

Lenovo Outlet has a stock of refurbished 9cells for your model, although the price is a bit higher than I would expect:

Thanks! I ended up ordering a "genuine Lenovo" battery from an ebay seller with good feedback for around $70. Hopefully it will let me use the computer for 4-5 hours between charges.
