Does anyone know if a WUXGA (1920x1200) panel will work with an intel graphics motherboard? Ive been trying to find a decent WSXGA+ panel for ages, any finally found
www.lcds4less.co.uk which has new matte panels in stock, but they also have WUXGA panels for less money! Im kind of tempted to try it out, but would be interested to know if anyone else has tried this configuration, and if so how it worked out...
My T61 is a 6466-5WG upgraded with a T9300 via Middleton's bios.

Yes, it will. I had a similar question in my
thread. I haven't tried it yet due to lack of a donor TP...

Beware of the "compatible" LCDs which is what most sellers offer...
You need a genuine Lenovo-issued LG Phillips WUXGA LCD with a FRU #, everything else is best avoided...

Id heard of that problem before, so I will watch out.
A few months ago I did get a WSXGA+ panel from someone on ebay, which I ended up sending back because it had extra tabs on the chassis and wouldnt fit. Interestingly it did work electrically - I had it running fine whilst hanging off the display cable, no BIOS issues and full 1680x1050 res. Apparently it was from an HP originally, I think it was an AU Optronics or some other manufacturer Id never heard of. Maybe the seller had reprogrammed the EDID info, or maybe because I have Middletons BIOS its not checking the EDID info?
