How to Change size of R secure drive?

When I bought this T60 I seem to recall setting the size of secure drive "R". It is currently 10G and with only 80G hard drive I could use some of this space. Is there a minimum size required? Is the backup OS stored here? I never recall storing anything here and properties show < 1G currently used.
