You'll get a T510 for it.

Most T61's in the US are going for $250 and less, sometimes much less. Add another $150 for the SSD... so $400. I have no idea if that ($650) is a good price in the UK.

Thanks,
everything lenovo is more expensive in the UK than in the US.
But from what you are saying it seems $650 is a bit more than normal, although it is a high-spec t61.

I wouldn't pay more than $200 for this T61 because the Nvidia GPU will likely fail.
Microsoft Surface 3 (Atom x7-Z8700 / 4GB / 128GB / LTE)
Dell OptiPlex 9010 SFF (Core i3-3220 / 8GB / 8TB); HP 8300 Elite minitower (Core i7-3770 / 16GB / 9.25TB)
Acer T272HUL; Crossover 404K; Dell 3008WFP, U2715H, U2711, P2416D; Monoprice 10734; QNIX QHD2410R; Seiki Pro SM40UNP

i would be avoiding this machine (or any T61/T61p with Nvidia GPU) like if it was plague, especially at this price. Even if it is in UK, this machine is not going to be worth more than say 400.

Try ebay, there should be some better deals around.
Current ThinkPad: T430u, T430s, X1 Carbon, X1, X230t, X220t, X230, X220, X201t, W520, W701ds, T500, T420 and many more

It's way to much money for that laptop.
Try nurtec on ebay there prices are fair and you can deal with them.

I'm not finding an eBay userid of that name on either the American or the UK eBay.
