Hello, yesterday my T61 started acting weird. My batt is set to charge up to 42%, weird thing is that when I shut down the machine, unplugged the AC adapter the battery led would not power off.
Then I powered it again and removed the AC cord again but the battery led would still be flashing green as if it were charging.
I let it discharge completely and then left it overnight to charge fully.
This morning the battery LED is blinking yellow and Power Manager reports Remaining battery is 0%, here's a screenshot

The battery hardly has 14 cycles

What can I do?

What can I do?

Do you have any warranty? As it could be a bad system management board.

In the power manager advanced setting, you can use the battery maintenance utility to recalibrate the battery - this may be worth trying
