The "N" & "M" key caps white letters are worn off. Might I be able to purchase new "N" & "M" key caps and how hard are they to replace?

There is a least one ebay seller that specializes in ThinkPad keys. You will get from them, the key cap, hinge assembly and spring button along with instructions for replacing the keys.
