Busted Ultranav button- what parts to buy?

So my dad has a T60p that I got him a few years ago. Somehow he has (physically) broken the left click button from the Ultranav (this would be the lower one, down near the front edge of the palmrest). I don't know precisely how it is broken, and I have not taken it apart (I am 2500 miles away). I do know that it comes off and he tries to put it back in, and it works so-so, but comes out again, etc.

Anyway, the question is what parts should I be looking to purchase? Since used parts are fairly inexpensive I'd like to get him everything he could possibly need to resolve this. Is the Ultranav an assembly itself that I can get whole? Or is it part of something bigger like the palmrest? Should we just replace the palmrest anyway? Any other parts I need? I am not real familiar with Thinkpad insides.
