Compatible HDD Replacement

I'm looking for a list of the compatible HDD's for a T60p -- just making sure I grab from the proper list so I don't get those irritating HDD errors I use to see.

Would really like to put in a 120-160gb SSD in here but want to make sure it doesn't throw that error during POST.

You are probably referring to Error 2010, this only applies to T43 and R52, and can be remedied nowadays by applying a modified BIOS.
No other TPs have such an error message.
You can put any size SATA SSD (or hard disk) in your T60/p, as long as it is 2.5" wide and 9.5mm high.

I recently replaced HDDs in two T60s [2007-AY6]. I considered SSD, but reverted.
I installed one 160G , one 250G [took available/valuable components] ,Seagate & Hitachi, no issues with installs from OEM recovery diskset.
