Anyone have a source for a reasonably priced NEW RTC battery for my T60?

What is the FRU or Lenovo number for the RTC battery?

I see them cheap on eBay, not sure if they are any good.

I don't want to sacrifice quality for price though.

If you want cheap, go to any pharmacy and buy a CR2032 battery.
Then carefully unplug your old battery, cut the yellow plastic open along the side, carefully tear off the wires with their metal strips and mark if + or -.
Then flatten the metal strips, attach the old wiring to the new battery (observing polarity) with some scotch tape, put the yellow cover back, and put some more scotch tape around it all to keep it in place.
Or buy any of the gazillion (yellow) CMOS batteries off eBay. Their FRU or P/N is irrelevant.

Hello B~S~V-
I , errrrr , recently had occasion to renew HDDs in two T60s[2007-AY6]; while 'there' , i replaced the CMOS batteries.
I noticed the variability in pricing/numbers on ebay.
I ordered a few ... found that many appeared to be removed from used equipment.

I ordered one from an electronic parts house in FL ; it seemed new , pricey @ ca 16$, + ship.

My best buy was from an outfit which sold thru Amazon. I just saw the receipt/invoice ticket yesterday ; i'll try to get back with relevant info tomorrow.{i'm not near that record today} The FRU is of course shown in the info/HMM(?) on the 307 webpage.

I found the 'fit' of the device to be rather tight ... so suggest OEM configuration.

IBM PN 02K6541

FRU 02K6572

The one installed has over 3v, so I don't need one, thanks for your idea's and suggestions.
