T61p: processing speed versus Core Duo/Core Duo 2 ???

I'm going to replace my T43 with a T61p but I do not know which is mroe important for speed and performace, the processing speed or Core Duo versus Core Duo 2: any opinions?
Also, is it annoying to use the 15.4 inch "wide screen" versus the standard screen of same size (... looks like the lower heigh mugh tne annoying...?)

All T61p have a Core 2 Duo. You wouldn't get one with a Core Duo. Keep in mind a T61p has the nvidia GPUs, which have a high failure rates. You might be better off with a T500 or W500.

You'd be better advised to check out what is available in our Marketforum first!
At least you know then where it's from, and the regular sellers here are all trustworthy (which cannot be said about fleabay).
