T61 Specs?

Hi all

Sorry to bother you all with this; but I've been offered a very clean T61 for a very reasonable price (7661 - CTO I believe is the type no). Does anybody know if this is one of the inevitable-failure nVidia GPU ones? Or point me to a url that might tell me.

Many thanks in advance.

Best regards

Tony

Type 7661 should be Intel graphics, so you should be fine. :)

Actually from what I read, the Nvidia has a low failure rate, but I'll agree it would be nice to have the more reliable video on a cheap laptop, but on the other hand, the nvidia machines usually have the better hardware to go with them. Most intel graphics machines have the base level cpu and display. When I bought mine, the base was a 1.8ghz core2 with only 2mb cache. It's still enough to do most anything except for 3d gaming.

Either way I'm sure you'll enjoy it, the t61 is a good computer.

Thanks for for that, couldn't make up my mind between that and a T60, nice to have both I suppose :)
