Can x220 work with an older port replicator? Like for a T60?

I've seen some comments made that the Series 3 port replicators can support T series laptops (I suppose limited to those since the revised power adapters - T60 and later). Is the reverse true?

I just got a x220, and would really like a port replicator that still supports my trusty ps2 keyboard. It appears from what I've seen on the Lenovo site that the new port replicators have lost the PS2 port.

I know, I know - but I love that keyboard!

Any ideas? I'm looking at the 250510U unit - it looks like the connector is about the right distance in from the rear of the laptop... the original specs say it is compatible with the T60 laptop.

Thanks!
Aletia

None of this is true.

The Series 3 docks support only T400s, and 220/410/420/510/520 series. None of the older ones.

Older docks (2503/2504/2505) only support the T/R/W/Z 60/61/400/500 series. None of the newer ones.

The docking connector is physically different.

Thanks for the clarification - not surprised, but I was hoping.... I've had to buy too many different port replicators over the years with each new Thinkpad....couldn't imagine it changing.

Cheers!

Since you have USB ports, why not get a cheapie PS/2-to-USB adapter, such as
