X41 Tablet cursor lag issue

I restored everything on my x41 tablet to factory defaults cause it was horribly slow when I received it, the only issue I notice is the cursor lags behind the pen when I move it and then finally catches up when I stop, it's a lag of about 1/2 centimeter or so, and is more noticeable the faster I move the pen it seems. is this supposed to happen? I will be using this for art and the lag of the cursor/line would be a bit annoying.

Apart from that gauge/scratch on the LCD (see other post), another reason to return it.
