Any X Series with a 1400x1050 screen?

The Toshiba has a 12" 1400 ... any chance IBM will do the same? Things would be tiny, but they would be sharp too

There isn't any and I doubt there will be as things will be too tiny to have any practical use. 1024x768 already stretches the limits of some people's eyes on a 12.1", 1400x1050 would IMO be unusable.

That's probably true... but at the same time the X31 does have a small resulution for a 12.1" screen, toshiba, fujitsu and dell all hae 10 or 12 " screens with higher resolution... say in the 1280 range... 1400 is probably pushing it.

I also wouldn't mind a larger resolution on the X3x series...

X41: 1280 would be perfect! Any chance of installing a 1280 on your own? What would the cost be?

the toshiba 12" sxga+ is nice, but the one i played with was a tablet, so the screen had a cover which made it blurry, still readable though.

1400x1050 on a 12" would hurt.

It is pushing it on the 14"
