Howto update BIOS on ThinkPad X30 Type 2673 using floppy disk?

I suppose you have to boot some kind of DOS to flash the drivers.
If so, there are a few more elegant solutions:
An old hitachi(??) tool which can create USB which boots into DOS ( you supply dos yourself, FreeDOS is legal open source project, but if you legally own MS DOS, you can use it too.)
Clonezila CD comes with the option to boot into FreeDOS into it. If I remember, Hiren boot CD and similar, too, pack FreeDOS.
All CD images can easily be used to create bootable USB out of them, so you dont even have to use your usb CD :)

http://clonezilla.org/ Here you an download the Clonezilla CD, and hav some instructions how to turn it into bootable USB;) (if you wish to)
