OS/2 Warp 3 or 4 work on a X40 ?

#1 Post by natgab » Sat Jun 02, 2012 8:28 pm

I was looking at stuff on eBay and saw that people were selling some boxed OS/2 Warp 3 and 4s. I know the system is old and that eComStation is a new version. But could I run one of those boxed sets on my Thinkpad X40? Would it work, or is the X40 too new? I would love to dual boot OS/2 & Linux if I could.

I checked the OS/2 section here on the forum, but most post seem from around 2010. Mods, if this needs to be moved to that section, please move it and I will post any further questions in that section.

hi there...

I don't visit this forum so frequently.....

I am running very well the eComStation 2.1 on a X24...
The machine was 2nd hand and came with installed the warp 4.

You can ask the os2world.com forums btw.. lots of friendly people there!
