IBM Logo Part Number

I just bought the LCD Cover ( P/N : 91P8900 ) for my Thinkpad X31, but it does come with the IBM Logo part, that goes in the outside of the cover. Somebody knows what it is the P/N ?, thanks

The LCD cover does come with the logo already pressed in. Did you receive one that is just a solid black??

Cynic is right. The LCD cover should have the logo already on it. I checked these sites:

Yes the LCD Cover came with PURE BLACK no logo at all, I have not been able to find out where to check if this is OK, or there is a missing IBM logo, please any help is welcome, thanks

The logo is a thick plastic sticker and should be in a plastic bag along with a set of various screw covers. If they didnt send you one I would contact IBM as it should've been in the box along with the cover also a new LCD bezel.

if you purchased the lcd cover from ibm maintenance parts then the lid should have included a logo.   all logo parts (ie: lcd covers and palm rests) are sold with logos -- some are already installed and some are included in a tiny bag.

since it sounds like your logo is missing, you should be able to call ibm maintenance parts (800-388-7080) for a replacement.
