Have anyone seen this before? I cannot delete these files either. I know that these files are created with rescue and recovery program on my machine, but i have copied these on a external disk so i just want to delete them.
Please, my disk is so fragmented cause of these files.
I have a 2386H4G machine: 1,4 LV Dothan, 1024 RAM, BT, WLAN etc.
My machine is model no US1H4NO, with norwegian XP pro.
The X40 is not modified, all IBM software is still on disk. I like the programs that IBM ship with their machines....
Please help me!
best regards, Roar
Cannot defragment whole disk on X40 because....
How far into the "Backup Now" do you have to go before you are given the option of deleting a backup? I only have the original backup there, so maybe it doesn't give the option to delete them unless there is more than one.
What I'm really trying to do is defrag my hard drive with Diskeeper 10... it doesn't matter how many times I run it, my hard drive still shows to be heavily fragmented and it's all because of files in the RRUbackups folder. Ranging from 1200 fragments (I'm not joking) to 53 fragments, my harddrive seems to be in very bad shape (with 24% of my volume being heavily fragmented).
Is there a way to defrag that folder? Seeing as IBM loaded that folder (because I sure never made a recovery file) I would think it would have been made just after the OS was loaded and shouldn't be fragmented like that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
