x40 --> x41 mobo?

hello all! newbie here to this forum.

im planning to bring some new life into my old x40 which has been sitting dormant for years with me not being able to find replacement genuine batteries. but alas i have finally found it.

wanting to take the processor speed up to the max and was wondering will a x41 1.6ghz mobo be compatible with the rest of my x40? if not i will suffice with a x40 board but i would like the extra ram and ddr2 (and maybe in the future a sata mod).

i know something like this will be more expensive than just buying another x4x series but i think the work ill put into it will be all worth the extra time and trouble.

Buying a complete X41 is likely easiest or at least the base assembly.

yea thats what i figured. =)
i think im just too attached to my original x40 that i dont want to wholly give it up.
