Any Way to Boot and Run Win XP From USB Hard Drive on X40?

I have a clone of my X40 hard drive on an external 2.5" USB hard drive, which I carry with me when I travel for a back-up.

If my main drive goes out, I cannot insert and run from a 2.5" drive. Is there a way to configure the computer/drive so it will boot and run from the USB drive?

Sure, just change the boot sequence in the BIOS.
