X32 Keyboard not working.

Hi. I have a ThinkPad X32.

Got it lately, and have been playing around with it for a few days.

I noticed that the keyboard stops working from time to time. normally it works just fine, then the next moment it just stops.
even the power button goes down, so I have to pull the battery and plug to turn it off. After reboot, it works just fine.
When this is happening, usb keyboard still seems to work fine...

does anyone have this issue as well? what could be the problem?

Might just be a loose connector. Trying removing and reconnecting it.

Did it already, still happens... I should have wrote this in the original post... my apologies.

What do you think is more likely? the M/B, or the keyboard?

Really hard to tell without a spare keybaord to swap out. But, if removing AC and battery, then rebooting always fixes the problem...my guess would be motherboard. Try removing all power, and pressing the power button for a second or two ten times and holding it down for ten seconds the last time, to drain all charge from the motherboard capacitors. Then reconnect the AC only, and try it out. The battery itself could possibly be the cause. It's a long shot, but just might straighten things out for you.
