X32, is this a good deal?

#1 Post by nowstime » Wed Apr 27, 2005 9:58 am

Hi~

I'm about to let go my T41p and get a X32 and a desktop...

I did some research and found a deal for X32, 2885-K4U educational purchase for Texas.

Price: $1,693.23 + Tax + Free shipping...

Highlights
- IBM ThinkPad X32 2885
- Pentium M 755 2 GHz
- Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional
- RAM 512 MB
- HD 60 GB
- CD-RW / DVD
- Mdm
- LAN EN, Fast EN, Gigabit EN, Bluetooth, 802.11b, 802.11a, 802.11g
- Centrino
- 12.1" TFT XGA (1024 x 768)

I'm pretty much leaned toward X32 than the X40 due to its performance...but is the X40 much smaller than the X32...

Best wishes,

To me it's a very good deal.

The X40 is only slightly smaller with the 8-cell.
