x32 battery doesn't charge anymore

hello everybody,
first of all sorry for my bad english, I'll try to explain my problem.
Battery of my x32 don't want to charge, when the power pack is plugged I see "battery on charge" in windows but it doesn't charge.
I checked battery with a AC tester and in the first and last contact it shows a voltage, but the tester on the corresponding contacts on the laptop don't show any voltage (with the power pack is plugged).
The laptop without battery and power pack plugged works as usual.

Any idea about what don't work anymore? Something inside the laptop? What could I check?

Lithium ion batteries have chips to control the charge and discharge cycles. If the battery isn't plugged in, it won't try to charge it so no voltage on the leads without a battery is normal.

If you can, find someone with another X31/X32 to see if the battery charges. If it doesn't, it's time to discard it and buy a new one.

If it charges in the other machine then yours has an issue. It's difficult to fix it unless you are really into electronics so your best bet is to change the entire motherboard.

If you can't borrow another machine the cheapest way to find out is to buy a new battery and see what it does.

thanks, so there are 2 chips that control battery charging, one put onto the battery and another on the motherboards?
Is there another way to understand what doesn't work anymore?

ok, I just try a new battery, and it didnt charge too.
So, there must be a chip on the motherboard that control the battery charging broken.

Could you think it's possible to repair or change it?
