Two versions of X230, is one of them without IPS display?

A. http://www.lenovoonline.cz/lenovo-thinkpad-x230-p4453

more expensive one, for display in the store's comparison sheet, it states
HD LED, Anti-Glare, Premium

B. cheaper one, for Display, states HD LED, Anti-Glare

I have a couple of questions, welcome any help from forum members,
mainly, does the absence of the word Premium mean it is not IPS?
Is IPS really so superior?

if I am lucky, there is a deal on an unpacked A for the price of slightly more than a B...

A is about 300 USD more expensive.

The cheaper, B, does not have a docking station. I do not really plan to use the docking station, will maybe get
the USB external DVD drive.
Are there any downsides to the dvd USB drive, compared to the DVD drive included in the docking station?
Mainly, I worry about bootability...one of the important uses of the DVD is flashing Bios, etc,
is that in any way harder to do, more troublesome, on an usb dvd drive, compared to the normal one in a docking station (and, compared to the one in a normal laptop?
I just had a colleague complain a lot about the docking station..
how the resolution of screen resets badly when the laptop is taken off the docking station without turning it off.

thanks.

I would guess the one tat says premium is IPS and the other is not, but it's still a guess.

IPS is superior. It offers better color and viewing angles. TN is fine for office and internet, but anything where color is important, the IPS will shine. To some degree it depends on how picky you are too.

You should be able to boot from either the docking station or external USB drive.
