i'm pretty sure that there isn't one on it. that was the deal killer for me. thinking about going up to a t42, but that's a whole other weight class. only subnotebook with s-video that i'm considering is the fujitsu p series.

Hey...

NO the ultrabase does NOT have svideo out although you might be able to get another bdock which does!

I think the best you can hope for is one of those VGA to Composite / Svideo converters.. I don't think the quality is too great but may be ok to simply watch dvds on a regular TV. otherwise a USB TV out adapter.

any idea where i could get one of those?

well, i'd want to use it for watching movies. it's such a tiny laptop that it'd be so easy to carry to the tv and back again. i believe it's a nice feature to have. it comes in handy :D

VGA out to composite is a better picture anyways. Try that

Agreed... and unless you have a high def, or nice LCD TV then it should look ok on the TV for movies...

Oh btw if you find a good place to get VGA to composite converters post it up here because I think therere are probably a few people interesting in those things :)

i had fujitsu lifebook 7010 and it has everything, but it's too [censored] thick. the thing is 1.4"+. That's not so "portable" to me anymore, even thogh it's tiny.
