I have an X40 with built-in Bluetooth.
I have tried to use Skype with a Bluetooth headset, with a direct wired headset and microphone, and with the built-in microphone and speaker. I have the same problem all three ways.
I hear the incoming voice on the other side just fine. My outgoing voice, however, sound very, very faint, to the extent that I cannot use Skype.
I have checked the microphone settings in Control Panel-Sounds and Audio Devices and have turned the microphone gain up all the way (line-in with the Bluetooth headset).
I also tried reloading the sound card drivers. No luck.
I also have a T42p setup exactly the same way and it works fine.
I am thinking I have a bad sound card in the X40. Any thoughts?
