This hapenned in 2 different X40 machines running WinXP. The problems started only recently. Sometimes(!!!) when I use FN+F4 to put the computer to sleep, it will take me between 10-20 seconds of pressing on the FN key later on to wake it up. On other times it seems to respond like it used to.
Anyone has any idea?
Thanks
X40 has problems waking up (using the FN key)
When I first got my x40 there were some keys not working like the volume controls and the access IBM button (except on startup) I called tech support and they had me update BIOS and some other things. Now everyting works like a dream. Might be that or you may need a new keyboard.
Call tech support and they will go through some steps with you and if that does not fix your problems then they will likely send you a new keyboard, problem solved =)
