Where Should I Get an X41 Tablet From?
Where Should I Get an X41 Tablet From?
I want to get an X41 Tablet (1866-6SU looks like a suitable model). Where should I buy it from? Who gives the best discounts to the general public? I have a CDW account and they are okay, but I get charged tax and their prices are usually a bit high. Can someone suggest better?

Unless I'm badly mistaken, Bill can order most anything that isn't an Express model.artuero wrote:I didn't know Bill offered the X series, thought it was just Ts.

Before I get some angry responses, I found the site in the faq.

Ok. I do not have access to EPP, but if I get it that would be superb.
Anyone have other shopping tips? I mean, you would be crazy to just buy from Dell without six coupons, a sale, and three rebates. But I am getting the impression the IBM price is more or less the IBM price and that you can't do much by shopping around (at least for current models). Does that sound right? Any alternatives to CDW and IBM.COM, or discounts other than EPP?

No, and yes, as slagmi suggested several days ago, you can check with your host in this forum who is an authorized VAR for ThinkPads. You can contact him at bill@thinkpads.comartuero wrote:Does that sound right? Any alternatives to CDW and IBM.COM, or discounts other than EPP?
